Samsung's ArtPC Pulse is a cylindrical desktop PC with 360-degrees speaker


Samsung has announced the launch of ArtPC Pulse, a cylindrical desktop PC. The desktop is 10.7-inch tall, boasts premium aluminum body with an expandable design, has a built-in Harmon Kardon 360-degree omni-directional speaker on the top and a ambient circular lighting. It also has a storage expansion module for Hard drives.

Samsung's ArtPC Pulse comes with the option of Skylake Core i5 or Skylake Core i7 processor, and features AMD RX 460 GPU. The Core i5 model comes with 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, while the Core i7 comes with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The Core i5 model has an optional 1TB HDD storage expansion module (purchase separately) while the i7 model comes bundled with it.

The desktop will run Windows 10 and includes 4 X USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type-C port, an HDMI port, DisplayPort, HDMI, Ethernet jack, microSD card slot and headset jack.

The ArtPC Pulse will be available from October 28, at $1200 for the Core i5 model and $1600 for the core i7 model.
