LG teases G6 ahead of February 26 unveiling

The LG G6 has been part of many rumors for the past couple of days. For a change, we are now getting some information directly from LG.

LG has released their official invite for the unveiling of G6, teasing its bigger 'bezel-less' display. The invitation teases the main screen with an image on the left, with the moniker 'Big Screen', while on the right there is a rough sketch of the main body with the moniker "That Fits".

This indicates that the LG G6 will have a higher scree-to-body ratio. Reports have suggested that G6 will carry screen-to-body ratio greater than 90 percent, more than that of Xiaomi's Mi MIX.

The LG G6 will sport a 5.7-inch screen with 1440 x 2880 pixels and 9:18 aspect ration. LG has even given the display a special name, "Full Vision".

In recent leaked photos and renders (1, 2, 3,4,5), we have seen LG G6 sporting almost no bezel on either side of the screen. Some of the confirmed features of the flagship include water-resistant body, USB Type-C port, non-removable battery, dual-rear cameras, fingerprint scanner and Android Nougat.

Unfortunately, the chip utilized by LG G6, will be last year's Snapdragon 821, which is used in some of the popular phones like Google's Pixel and OnePlus 3 to name a few.
