Samsung's rugged Galaxy Xcover 4 goes official


Samsung has expanded its rugged Galaxy Xcover family, with the launch of Galaxy Xcover 4. Like its predecessors, the Galaxy XCover 4 is designed to withstand falls and harsh environment. The phone IP68 rated for water (up to 1.5m) and water resistant. In addition it  also carries US military standard MIL-STD 810G rating, meaning it can survive drops, extreme weathers (cold or humid), shocks, vibrations, intense sunlight or salt water.

As for the specs, the Galaxy Xcover 4 features 4.99-inch HD TFT display, which us fully usable with glover and is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage, which can be expandable via microSD cards.

For photography, there's 13MP f/1.9 rear camera and 5MP front camera. It packs NFC support, 2800mAh battery and runs Android Nougat.

The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 is priced at 259 Euro and will be available in April in Black hue.
