Asus announces ZenPad 3S 8.0 with 2K display, 4GB RAM, Android 7.1

Asus at the ongoing Computex 2017, Taipei introduced the sucessor of ZenPad 3, dubbed as ZenPad 3S 8.0 (Z582KL). It sports an ultra-slim 6.9mm aluminum unibody frame offering a premium look, and gets major upgrades over its predecessor.

The ZenPad 3S 8.0 comes with 7.9-inch 2K display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 GPU and 4850mAh battery. It will be offered in two versions: 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage.

For photography, there's 13MP f/2.0 rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera. Other features include 4G LTE (optional), WiFi, dual speakers and Smart Amplifier technology. The tablet boots Android 7.1 Nougat based ZenUI 3.5.

Asus is yet to reveal the pricing and availability details.
