Motorola is reportedly working on an Android tablet

If a new report is to be believed, Motorola is getting back into the tablet market. The brand back in 2011, launched its first tablet, Xoom, and had a follow up model as well, and has been silent since then.

Android Police citing trusted sources reports that Motorola is working on a new large tablet, with screen size of 9 or 10-inch. It also says that the tablet will have a premium look and feel.

The source also claims that Motorola's upcoming tablet will come with a feature called "Productivity Mode", and has shared a screen shot as well. This feature is already present on Motorola's parent Lenovo's Yoga Book, and is basically an improved version of multi-windows function.

Productivity Mode lets users to quickly switch between apps by tapping on the navigation bar for swift-multi-tasking. You can pin apps to the navigation bar and tap on the icon to switch between apps. You can long-press the app icon and drag it upward to close it. There's also a dedicated app drawer button on the navigation bar.

Unfortunately there is no details on the specifications or release date. Motorola is already doing well in the smartphone market, and it will be interesting to see how the tablet market will welcome the brand.
