Xiaomi launches new 4GB RAM, 64GB storage version of Redmi 4X in China


Xiaomi has launched a new variant of Redmi 4X in China with more RAM and storage. Back in February, it released 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/32GB storage versions of Redmi 4X, and now there's a new model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

The new Redmi 4X with 4GB RAM also gets an increased price tag of CNY 1099 ($159 | Rs. 10,200), compared to CNY 699 ($100 | Rs. 6,800)  and CNY 899 ($130 | Rs. 8,800) of the 2GB and 3GB RAM variants respectively.

Besides more storage and RAM, the rest of specs are same. The new Redmi 4X features 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 435 chip, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage 13MP/5MP cameras and a beefy 4100MAh battery.

It also comes with fingerprint scanner, infrared sensor and runs Android Marshmallow based MIUI 8. Other specs include hybrid-dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiF and Bluetooth.

The new Redmi 4X comes in Cherry Pink, Champagne Gold and Matte Black colors, and will be available in China starting May 9.
