Play the arcade classic, Crazy Taxi, on your Android device!

It’s the game that your parents didn’t want you to play for fear that you would one day learn to drive like the characters in it. Sega has released one of its classic games, Crazy Taxi, to the Android space and you can get it for free.

In the unlikely case that you don’t know the point of this game, here’s a quick run down. Your character is a taxi driver right out of a 90’s cartoon, and it’s your duty to pick up the many fares standing along the sidewalk. After they literally hop into your car, you must drive them down to their destination, ignoring every traffic signal, pedestrian, sign and speed limit in order to drop them off in time. It’s a game which encourages the player to cause as much chaos and damage as possible. There are multiple modes and rules to keep gameplay fresh. The controls are a bit wonky, but then again, so were the original controls. You can expect clean and smooth gameplay though; the app was reconstructed to operate completely like an app, and not like a game through an emulator.
