Samsung Decides To Discontinue My Knox

If you are a Samsung user you may know about the My Knox feature which comes packed with every Samsung Device. It was really handy for those who wanted to separate their work data from personal data. Being a Samsung User, realized that the service used to eat up my bit of RAM and battery in some cases.

My Knox used to create a separate home screen in the My Knox application. Just like Windows lets you create separate user accounts, My Knox creates a duplicate homescreen on which you can install your apps which will only be available on My Knox.

The service made it's debut in 2014 and now Samsung has decided to discontinue it (though you can still use it till Samsung announces it's date from which it will be discontinued). The company also said that the the upcoming Galaxy devices will not come with My Knox. Instead, they will have the Secure Folder feature. For now we don't have a lot of information on the Secure Folder functionality but we will notify you as soon as more info is revealed.
