Karbonn K9 Kavach 4G with BHIM integration launched at Rs. 5,290


Karboon Mobiles on Tuesday launched K9 Kavach 4G, India's first 4G smartphone with BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money) integration for UPI based payment. The phone has a fingerprint scanner, which can be used with BHIM app for payment authentications. It ships with Android Nougat.

In terms of specifications the K9 Kavach 4G comes with 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1.25GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

For photography, it includes 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front facing camera. Connectivity options are dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. A 2300mAh battery runs the show, that promises up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time.

The Karbonn K9 Kavach 4G has been priced at Rs. 5,290, and is now available from both online and offline channels in Coffee Brown, Champagne and Black hues.
