The Nokia 6 Is The First Device To Receive The Android July Security Patch

Nokia has made a decent comeback and has promised timely updates at regular intervals and monthly security patches too. Sticking to what it said, Nokia has already released the July security patch for the Nokia 6, making it the first device in the world to get this security patch, even faster than the Nexus and Pixel devices.

This update weighs 149MB and bumps up the device's security level to July 1. It is, however, worth noting that the update is currently available only in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Being a hefty upgrade, this new software might also fix some bugs in Nokia's skinned version of Android. It is great to see Nokia keeping its word and quickly updating their phone to the newest version of the Android OS.
