SoundBot SB517 is a water-resistant Bluetooth speaker for Rs. 1,290

California based audio gear manufacturer SoundBot has launched a water-resistant Bluetooth speaker in India called SB517. 

The SoundBot SB517 boasts  military grade IPX Level 7 water and shock resistant rating, which means you can carry it anywhere be it the poolside, kitchen, shower or beach. It packs 90db range and is equipped with 3W output backed by 40mm water resistant speaker drivers to deliver high quality sound.

The Bluetooth speaker is claimed to work effectively at a distance of 10m from the streaming device, and can wirelessly stream music continuously for six hours on a single charge. It has a built-in mic for hands-free calling and has buttons on the top to play/pause music, control volume, power on/off and answer/reject calls. It also comes with a detachable suction cup for fixing on smooth surface.

The SoundBot SB517 has been priced at Rs. 1,290 and comes in Black and White color. However, you can grab it from Amazon India for as low as Rs. 980.
