ZTE Blade A2S with octa-core CPU, 3GB RAM announced

ZTE introduced the budget A2 smartphone last year, and earlier this year it launched a beefed up version called A2 Plus with a massive battery capacity. Now the China based device maker has launched another version of A2 called A2S with a slightly bigger display, more RAM and storage.

The ZTE Blade A2S sports a premium metal unibody design with rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and 5.2-inch Full HD display. It is equipped with 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor paired to Mali T860 GPU and 3GB RAM. It comes with 32GB on-board storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card.

It has 13MP PDAF assisted camera at the back with an LED flash, and 5MP f/2.2 front facing camera. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. A 2540mAh battery runs the show.

The ZTE Blade A2S is priced at CNY 700 ($106 | Rs. 6,800), and will go on sale in China starting September 8 on JD.com in a single Deep Grey color.
