Xposed Module Amplify Updated To Support Nougat

If you will do a Google search for the definition of 'amplify', you will find that amplify means to increase the volume of / enlarge upon. Xposed module Amplify aims to do something similar with your Android device's battery life. Amplify allows you to have complete control over the alarms, wakelocks and services requested by various applications. Wakelocks and services allow an app to hold your device awake and prevent it from going into deep sleep (deep sleep is a low powered CPU state).

Wakelocks such as NlpWakelock, NlpCollectorWakeLock, ALARM_WAKEUP_LOCATOR, and ALARM_WAKE_ACTIVITY_DETECTION are known to be the "worst battery hogs." Using Amplify, you can configure how frequently should each wakelock, alarm or service be triggered. By limiting how often wakelocks are triggered you can end up getting more juice of your device's battery.

Xposed framework for Nougat was released recently and since then various developers have updated their Xposed modules to support the new release of the framework. Ryan Steckler has now updated his app Amplify to work on Nougat (the app will also work on Lollipop and Marshmallow). You can grab the latest release of Amplify from its XDA thread or from the Xposed Installer and Play Store. The free version of Amplify allows you to limit select wakelocks. You can unlock all the functionalities of the app by doing an In-App purchase.
