Airtel revises Rs. 199 plan to offer per day data

To counter Reliance Jio and other telecom operators, Airtel has revised its Rs. 199 unlimited combo base tariff plan for prepaid customers to now offer per day data. Earlier this plan offered 'only' 1GB data and unlimited voice call for 28 days.

The revised Rs. 199 plan now offers 100 SMS per day, unlimited voice calls including national roaming calls and 1GB data per day for 28 days. This means you are getting a total of 28GB high-speed data, instead of the previous 1GB data for the validity period. In addition there is no FUP on voice calling.

Do note that the Rs. 199 plan is now part of open market, so any Airtel prepaid customer across the country can  simply recharge this plan and enjoy the benefits. Airtel prepaid customers can recharge the revised Rs. 199 plan from Airtel's website or MyAirtel app.
