dotOS Updated With Auto Face Unlock, Ambient Music Display, New Features & More

The team behind dotOS announced the Oreo-based builds of their ROM last month, and now dotOS have released the first major update of the ROM. The version number of dotOS has been bumped up to 2.2 and this release of the ROM brings a plethora of new features, April security patch, and much more.

=> NFC tile added
=> Compass tile added
=> Screen recording tile added
=> USB Tether tile added
=> Default wallpaper changed to Wondering Sky
=> Show infinity for a large number of notifications
=> Fixed battery charging indicator
=> Sounds tile added
=> Show Battery level at the bottom when on Ambient Display
=> Notification ticker added
=> Fixed charging sound

dotOS currently have eight devices on their roster. Out of the eight supported devices, the Redmi Note 4, Mi A1 and Zuk Z2 Plus had received official builds of v2.2. The remaining five devices - Moto G5, Moto G5 Plus, Nubia Z9 Max, Redmi 3S/Prime/3X, Redmi 4X - will be getting the v2.2 builds in the coming days. Unofficial builds of dotOS for various devices can be found on the XDA forums.
