[UPDATE: Download Links] OnePlus 5/5T Receiving Stable Oreo 8.1 Update

The OnePlus 5 got the Oreo 8.0 update in January, and the OnePlus 5T got it a month later in February. Last month, OnePlus began testing Oreo 8.1 for the two smartphones and now the stable update is rolling out in the form of OxygenOS 5.1.0.

OxygenOS 5.1.0 comprises of the April security patch, iPhone X like full screen gestures for the 5T, optimizations to the gaming mode, and feature additions to the OnePlus launcher.

The update changelog as provided by OnePlus is given below.

The update size is 766MB. Since OTA updates roll out in batches, it might take some time for the update to reach your end. Users on OnePlus forums reported that they were able to pull the update almost instantly when they made use of OperaVPN and set the region to Canada or Germany. If you are using an Open Beta build, you would not be getting the stable update. You will instead have to update manually by flashing the stock ROM. OnePlus is yet to post the download files of OxygenOS 5.1.0. We will update this post as and when they become available.

OnePlus hasn't yet listed OxygenOS 5.1.0 under its Downloads section, but one of our readers managed to catch the links of the official update files. The update links are given below. We will update this post again when OnePlus lists OxygenOS 5.1.0 in the Downloads section.
