ViperOS Discontinued In Favour Of ToxycOS, v2.0 Out


Recently, ViperOS (aka AOSVP) was discontinued after its lead developer Gustavo Campos quit due to "professional reasons". The other members of ViperOS came together and started ToxycOS. The ROM uses the work of Ground Zero Open Source Project as its base and builds on top of it with useful add-ons and features.

The ToxycOS team has now released v2.0 of its ROM. The changelog for the same is given below.

• Added Android P Transition (Enable/Disable)

• Added Enable/Disable Digital Authentication Vibration
• Added Face Unlock Settings for Supported Devices
• Added Battery LED Settings
• Added Configurations for Notification LEDs
• Added Button light settings
• Carrier name extended to 15 characters



Currently, twenty-four devices are supported with official releases, and more will be supported in the future. Out of the 24 supported devices, ToxycOS v2.0 is already available for thirteen devices. The remaining devices will get the v2.0 builds in the coming days. The ROM builds can be downloaded from here.
