Misfit Flash Link is a wearable do-anything button for $20


Wearables maker Misfit are known for manufacturing premium wearable computing products, such as Shine and Flash, The company announced a new activity tracker dubbed Flash Link. It is a device that tracks your daily activities and sleep. It can be attached to your body with a number of accessories including Watch, necklace, belt-loop and more.

Flash Link trackswalking, running, cycling, swimming, tennis, yoga, dance and other activities. The device also motivates you to reach your goal every day, by seeing how active you  are. It comes with a built-in button, press it to see a halo of lights (12 LED lights) that show your progress towards daily activity. The button press also works with your camera, Spotify, Pandora and in the future with Logitech Harmony devices and IFTT.

Flash Link is made out of special soft-touch plastic and polycarbonate used in space suits. It is durable and water resistant up to 30 meters. It uses a replaceable coin cell battery that promises up to 6 months of battery life. It also comes in a variety of colors.

Flash Link is connected to your phone via Misfit Link app. The app turns your fitness data into easy to read charts. The app also allows you to take selfie, control music, connect with Spotify and may more platform in connected living. The app is available only for iOS and an Android version will be launched soon.

The Misfit Flash Link is priced at US$ 19.99 and is available on Misfit.com. It will hit retail stores in Q4 worldwide.
