Mobell X Nova, a $170 phone with 6.5mm thin body and fingerprint sensor



Vietnam based smartphone maker Mobell launched Nova X, a premium looking smartphone with aluminum unibody design and thin body build at 6.5mm. The phone is also equipped with a fingerprint sensor.

The Mobell Nova X features 5-inch HD 2.5D (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass Protection 3. The screen can also be used with wet hands and gloves. The phone is equipped with 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with Mali T720 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. It houses Hybrid Dual SIM slot, which means you can either add two SIM cards or a SIM card and a microSD card into the slot.

For photography it sports a 13-megapixel rear auto-focus camera with LED flash 2-megapixel front facing camera. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, supports 4G LTE and is fueled by a 2100mAh battery with fast charging. The fingerprint sensor sits at the back of the device and can store up to 5 fingerprints.

The Mobell X Nova is priced at VND 3,900,000, which is about $173 and Rs. 11,500. It is available from Mobile World shop outlets in Vietnam.
