OnePlus X gets OxygenOS 2.2.0


OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 2.2.0 OTA update for the OnePlus X smartphone. The update fixes USSD issues for India, so that user will now receive USSD notification after a call, SMS and data usage. The company has also added dual-SIM preferences to System settings

Additionally, the update adds manual mode for camera app, that is available in OnePlus 2, option to save images in SD card directly from camera, bug fixes and optimizations. The OxygenOS 2.2.0 OTA (over-the-air) update for the OnePlus X weighs 40MB in size and also includes Google's security for January.

Here's what OxygenOS 2.2.0 brings:

  • USSD bug fix for India
  • Added dual SIM preferences back in system settings

  • General bug fixes and optimizations
Note that, this is an incremental update, so OnePlus X users will have to wait until the update hits there device. In the meantime, you can go to Settings -> About Phone -> System Updates, to check for the update manually.
