Acer introduces Liquid Zest, Liquid Zest 4G budget smartphones

Acer, in addition to the Liquid Jade 2, has also announced two budget smartphone - the Liquid Zest and Liquid Zest 4G, running Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Acer Liquid Zest sports 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is equipped with 1.3GHz quad-core, processor, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and 5-megapixel front facing camera. It comes with DTS Sound Studio.

The Acer Liquid Zest 4G features the same specs as Liquid Zest including 5-inch 720p display, 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. However, it is equipped with a less powerful 1GHz quad-core processor and supports 4G LTE connectivity. It has DTS HD premium sound for enhanced audio experience.

Unfortunately, there are no details on the RAM, chipset, internal storage or battery capacity of both the smartphones. Both Liquid Zest and Liquid Zest 4G come in Midnight Black and Daylight White color.

The  Acer Liquid Zest will be available in EMEA in April at a starting price of EUR 109 (Rs. 8,000) and the Acer Liquid Zest 4G will go on sale in EMEA regions starting May priced at EUR 149 (Rs. 11,000).
