OnePlus X is now getting OxygenOS 2.2.1 update


The OnePlus X is now getting OxygenOS 2.2.1 as an over the air update (OTA) acorss the globe. The OxygenOS 2.2.1 is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and brings several bug fixes, optimizations and includes GSM 3.0 upgrade, and Google security patch for March. It also comes with APN update to suppot Tanzania's Tigo carrier.

The OxygenOS 2.2.1 update for OnePlus X weighs in at 284MB in size and is being rolled out in phases OTA globally. Recently OnePlus pushed out Android 6.0 Marshmallow based OxygenOS 3.0 beta to OnePlus 2, but it is now known when OnePlus X will be getting it.
