Google Keyboard Updates To v5.0, Highly Improved, More Handy

People who buy phones other than those of Google's stock experience miss the Google Keyboard, this is a big deal to them as they should now switch to this new amazing version of Google Keyboard. The update has jumped to v5.0 which is a big deal as the update contains many of the UI tweaks and many new handy productive features.
The update is not yet out on Play Store but you can always head to APKMirror for the APK's. This update is much needed improvement to the keyboard in every way. It contains many new feature, full list below -
  • One Handed Mode (Includes Options for Left and Right Handed)
  • Holo Themes are removed (Who uses them, good move)
  • Key Borders Option (Newly added, shows every key separately as used to on holo's)
  • Keyboard Height Adjustments (Very useful feature)
  • Suggestions Dragging (Can be removed just by dragging the suggestion)
  • Delete Words By Sliding (Backspace slide makes the whole word removed)
  • New Position for Emoji and Numbers (Faster Access to each)
  • Password Handy (Numbers shows up pn suggestion bar when entering password)
Well, to talks about the highlights, the most prominent feature is the new One Handed Mode  which helps users no matter left or right handed the ability to type with one hand, the keyboard shifts slightly from right or left making the keys a bit small and near to the Left or Right hand as desired.
You can see in the images above, the keyboard is slightly shifted to right to make the Right handers type easily from the Right hand, (<) this arrow helps switching hands and the fullscreen button helps to go to normal layout that means it disables the One handed feature.
Another change is the key borders, Well this option was not actually needed as the default layout is already real nice, this also gives that non materialistic look to the keyboard and more specifically the holo themes have been removed but this key border option somehow keeps the theme still alive. This options are for those who prefer Key Borders, for a change is good!

The emoji and number pad buttons have been repositioned which now makes them access faster and with less moves, the traditional way to reach emojis is still there which is the enter/send button kept pressed for a second and you can switch to emoji, and one handed mode now.

There are plenty of new additions listed above, you should try hands on it, this update is significantally improved and will give tough times to those of other third party keyboards
