OnePlus teases Android Nougat update on OnePlus 3

Last month, OnePlus in a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) session confirmed that it is actively working on bringing Android Nougat to its latest flagship killer, the OnePlus 3. Now OnePlus CEO and Founder Pete Lau has teased the Nougat update on the OnePlus 3 on Twitter.

The short 16 second teaser shows OnePlus offices and then a OnePlus 3 unit running Android 7.0 Nougat, and shows off the Easter Egg page from Android Nougat, but doesn't reveal any details regarding the availability of the update.

The teaser is accompanied by a tweet that says “already hard at work on the latest and greatest”. The teaser comes a day after, Google unveiled its latest Pixel smartphones running Android 7.1 Nougat.

As for other OnePlus devices, there is no word if OnePlus plans to update OnePlus One, OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X to Android Nougat. It's worth mentioning that OnePlus rolled out Marshmallow update to OnePlus X a week ago.

Apart from OnePlus, HTC, Sony and Motorola has confirmed which of its devices will get Android Nougat update, as well.
