Apple's WWDC 2017 to take place on June 5

Apple has announced that the company's 28th annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) will be held on June 5 and run till June 9. The annual meeting will take place at McEnegry Convention Center in San Jose, California, which is  few minutes away from the new Apple Campus 2.

As WWDC is a developer-focused event, Apple on the first day will preview iOS 11, new version of Mac OS, along with new software for Apple Watch and TV. In addition, during the five day event, developers from around the world will have access to more than 1,000 Apple engineers with opportunities to meet and engage with them throughout the conference.

The WWDC 2017 invitation reads ã…¡ Technology alone is not enough. Technology must intersect with the liberal arts and the humanities, to create new ideas and experiences that push society forward. This summer we bring together thousands of brilliant minds representing many diverse perspectives, passions, and talents to help us change the world.

Tickets for WWDC 2017 will go on sale starting March 27 and will cost $1599. Apple will issue the ticket to attendees through lottery system as demand for the ticket is very high.

Apple will live-stream the event on Apple Developer website and on WWDC app, which is available for iPhone, iPd and Apple TV.
