Sony resumes Nougat roll out for Xperia Z5, Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 tablet

Sony has resumed Android 7.0 Nougat update roll out to Xperia Z5, Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 Tablet, after the initial software update was halted after some users experienced multiple bugs and performance issues with their devices, following the Nougat update.

With the previous Nougat update carrying version number 32.3.A.0.372, users experienced audio playback issues, SD card performance related problems and poor battery life.

The issues has been fixed in the latest Nougat update carrying the firmware build 32.3.A.0.376, and is already rolling out to Xperia Z5, Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 Tablet, in stages over-the-air in select markets. Apart from bug fixes, the update does not bring anything new and even the the security patch is still in the December level.

To recall, Android Nougat for the aforementioned devices brings multi-windows support, performance enhancements, improved battery life, Google Now support built in the Xperia Home launcher and changes to notifications, and more.
