Alcatel Flash has two cameras on front and back


Alcatel on its Saudi Arabia website has listed a new smartphone with four cameras. Called Flash, the phone has two cameras on the front and two cameras on the back. The company is touting the phone as world's first smartphone with deca-core processor and four cameras.

The dual rear camera setup of the Alcatel flash is a 13MP Monochrome sensor + 13MP RGB f/2.0 units with Sony IMX258 sensor, 1/3.06 sensor size, dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and 4K video recording. On the front there's 8MP + 5MP dual camera setup to offer bokeh like effects that blurs out the background of the photos. The front facing camera also include LED flash, which means brighter selfies in darker environment. 

The phone also offers various professional camera modes including Super Night Mode, Super Selfie Mode, Manual Focus Mode, Panorama Mode, and Super Video Mode.

Coming to the other specs, the Alcatel Flash features 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with Dragontrail glass protection and is powered by 2.3GHz deca-core  Helio X20 processor backed by Mali T880 GPU and 3GB RAM. On-board storage is 32GB, which can be increased via microSD card.

In terms of connectivity, the phone offers dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB Type-C port. Running Android Marshmallow, it packs 3100mAh battery and has a fingerprint scanner located at the back.

Design wise, the Alcatel Flash offer premium looks sporting all metal body with textured design and diamond cuts. It will be available in Titanium Grey color, weighs 155g and the dimensions are 152.6 x 75.4 x 8.7mm.
