Samsung launches Galaxy J3 Pro in India for Rs. 8,490

Samsung is adding a new member to its budget Galaxy J line up in India. The new phone called Galaxy J3 Pro has been priced at Rs. 8,490 and will be available exclusively on PayTm Mall starting April 6 in Gold, Black and White colors.

The Galaxy J3 Pro is a mid-range smartphone sporting all plastic body. It runs the dated Android 5.1 Lollipop, and comes with Samsung's "Made for India" features including S-Bike mode and Ultra Data Saving Mode. The S bike mode encourages responsible riding, while UDS helps you save up to 50 percent of mobile data cost.

Coming to the specs, the Galaxy J3 Pro has a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core spreadtrum processor, with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

It comes with 8MP f/2.0 rear camera assisted by LED flash and 5MP front facing camera. The phone supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and GPS for connectivity, and a 2600mAh battery keeps the lights on.

If you're familiar with this smartphone, that's because it was first introduced in China back in June 2016.
