T-Mobile Galaxy Note5 Will Receive Nougat Update Next Week

US carrier T-Mobile's "gadget guy" @AskDes has tweeted that the Nougat update for T-Mobile Galaxy Note5 users has been approved and the update rollout is expected to start next week.

Some of you might think that the Note5 is an old device now. However, after the Note7 debacle last year, the 2015-launched Galaxy Note5 stands to be Samsung's most recent offering in it's Phablet series with S Pen.

Other American carriers such as Verizon, Sprint and AT&T have had rolled out the Nougat update to their Note5 users. Although it still isn't clear what T-Mobile will include in the update, it is expected that the update will add on more S Pen functionalities as other carriers had included in their update. 

Nougat 7.0 brings with it better battery management, an inbuilt data saver mode, multitasking capabilities and bundled notifications. Quick reply in Nougat allows you to reply to any message spontaneously through the notification itself.
