LG X Charge with 4500mAh battery, Nougat launches in the US


The battery-centric LG X power2 was unveiled at MWC 2017, Barcelona, and earlier this month was introduced in Korea as X500. Now the device has been launched in the US as X Charge on Comcast's new wireless service, Xfinity Mobile.

Like the X Power2 and X500, the main highlight of X Charge is its beefy battery capacity of 4500mAhated to deliver up to 15 hours of video playback, up to 18 hours of web surfing and up to 14 hours of GPS navigation. Also there's support for fast charging, so the device's battery can charge up to 50 percent in one hour, and fully charge in two hours.

As for the other specifications, the LG X Charge features 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor backed by Mali T860 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 32GB, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 2TB).

It comes with 13MP rear camera with LED flash, while the selfie unit is a 5MP camera assisted by soft LED flash. Running Android Nougat, the device supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB OTG for connectivity.

The LG GX Charge will be available in the US from Xfinity Mobile at $7.50 per month with 24-month contract or $180 (11,500) full payment in a single Titan Black hue.
