U.S based budget smartphone maker has launched a new budget smartphone in its home market dubbed Tank Xtreme Pro. It's a rugged device boasting IP68 rating, which makes it waterproof for up to 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes. It is also dust-proof and shock resistant and able to withstand drops, thanks to the inclusion of dual layer rubbed injection.

In terms of specifications, the BLU Tank Xtreme Pro features 5-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek processor with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

It is equipped with 8MP rear camera with an LED flash and 5MP front facing camera. For connectivity there's dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It runs Android Nougat and packs a massive 4300mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to two days of usage, and up to 30 day of standby time on a single full charge. Color options include Red, Green, Blue and Black.

The Tank Extreme Pro is currently listed on BLU's official website and is expected to available via Amazon soon and other US retailers.
