Swipe Elite VR with 5.5-inch display, 13MP camera launched at Rs. 4,499


Swipe Technologies latest budget smartphone offering comes bundled with a VR headset. Dubbed Elite VR, the company says it's the most affordable VR-enabled smartphone. Sadly, at a time when most devices ship with Android Nougat, the Elite VR still runs Marshmallow.

In terms of specifications, the Elite VR features 5.5-inch HD IPS display and is equipped with 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor backed by Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB, which can be further expanded via microSD card. 

For photography, it has 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front shooter. And the dual-SIM packs 3000mAh battery, and supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS for connectivity. The details about the VR headset is not known.

Priced at Rs. 4,499, the Elite VR will be available exclusively through e-commerce platform ShopClues starting today in Black, White, Gold and Red colors. AFew days back the brand also released Konnect Power at Rs. 4,999.
