Panasonic P99 Android Nougat phone with 4G VoLTE launches for Rs. 7,490

Panasonic is launching a mid-range P series 4G VoLTE smartphone in India called P99. It comes as the successor of P88, which was launched late last year, but gets a downgrade in the display size camera, battery and storage department. However, the new P99 carries a cheaper price tag and runs Android Nougat as opposed to Marshmallow on P88.

In terms of specification, the Panasonic P99 comes with 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with 2GB RAM, while the on-board storage is 16GB. The storage can be expanded by inserting a microSD card. It packs 2000mAh battery.

For photography, there's 8MP rear camera with an LED flash and 5MP front facing shooter. Connectivity options include dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. USB OTG is also supported.

The Panasonic P99 is priced at Rs. 7,490 and is now available for purchase from Panasonic brand shops and authorized retail stores across the country in Champagne Gold, Blue and Black colors.
