Google Wallpapers gets three new categories

Google is updating its popular Wallpaper app, adding new collections. A total of three categories have been added in addition to few new wallpapers in existing categories.

The new categories added are Geometric Shapes, Underwater and artistic type Keep Looking. However, only Geometric Shapes will be available for all devices, whereas, the Under Water and Keep Looking categories will be exclusive to Pixel devices.

There are a total of 23 wallpapers in the Geometric Shapes category, nine in the Keep Looking category, and 34 in the Underwater category.

In addition new wallpapers have been added to existing categories, but they are also Pixel-exclusive. These include rainy day wallpaper, that was first seen on the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Sadly, none of the Pixel 2’s new live wallpapers were added.

There's no update required to the Wallpapers app, since it is a server side addition, but if you have not yet installed the app on your device, you can download it from Play Store or APK Mirror.
