LG V30+ India launch set for December 13

LG is finally bringing its 'V's series flagship to India. The company has so far released three devices in the series, V10, V20 and V30, and none of them has made it to the country yet. But with the latest V30 that's changing, and LG will look to compete with the heavy guns like Galaxy Note8, Pixel 2 and Apple iPhone X in the  Indian market in the ending days of 2017.

LG India has sent out invites for the local launch event of LG V30+. The event will take place in New Delhi on December 13.

To remind you the LG V30+ was introduced at IFA 2017, and is basically a higher storage variant of LG V30. It comes with 128GB storage, compared to 64GB on the V30. Also the V30+ is the world's first smartphone to boast P-OLED FullVision display and a camera unit with f/1.6 aperture.

Speaking of the specs, the LG V30+ comes with 6-inch QHD+ P-OLED FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio that's protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It is equipped with Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform, 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, that's further expandable via microSD card.

The selfie shooter on the front is a 5MP f/2.2 sensor.

For security, it offers rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and voice and facial recognition for unlocking the device. It also boasts MIL-STD 810G certified case and IP68  water and dust resistance for extreme durability. It supports Google's Daydream VR Platform out-of-the-box, which means you can use the V30 with Daydream VR headset.

It is equipped with advanced audio capabilities featuring 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC backed by ESS Technology's SABRE ES9218P chip. In addition, the V30 comes bundled with B&O Play ear phones as well.
