Get free Mi Power Bank when you purchase a Redmi Note 4G from Airtel or The Mobile Stores in India on April 8

Xiaomi India announced that it will be offering a free power bank with the purchase of Redmi Note 4G.

The offer is valid on Redmi Note 4G smartphones purchased from Airtel and The Mobile Store only on April 8. The offer is a part of the Mi Festival which is being held to mark Xiaomi's fifth anniversary.

The announcement was made via Xiaomi's twiiter account that read "Get a Mi Power Bank 5200mAh free when you purchase a Redmi Note 4G from Airtel India or The Mobile Stores."

The Mi Power Bank 5200 is usually available on e-commercite site Flipkart and on Xiaomi's website for Rs. 599.

The Redmi Note 4G was Xiaomi's first device to be made available via offline retailers. The company partnered with The Mobile Store to sell the smartphone offline in Delhi NCR region.

This move is an attempt from Xiaomi may be to push Redmi Note 4G's offline sales in the country. The Redmi Note 4G is a 4G-LTE enable smartphone and comes with a price tag of Rs. 9,999.

To recap Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor paired with Adreno 305 GPU and 2GB RAM. Other features include 8GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3100mAh battery. It runs Android 4.4 with MIUI 6 on top.
