Huawei SnapTo with 5-inch display, 4G LTE announced for the U.S market


Chinese smartphone maker Huawei announced an unlocked 4G LTE-enabled Android smartphone dubbed SnapTo for the U.S market. The smartphone supports AT&T and T-Mobile LTE bands.

Huawei SnapTo features 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) TFT LCD display and is powered by 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 1GB RAM. The handset comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage and microSD card slot. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Huawei's Emotion UI 2.3 on top.

Camera features include 5-megapxiel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity features include 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS It is backed by 2200mAh battery.

Huawei SnapTo comes in White and Black color and can be pre ordered on Amazon US for $179.99. The black color variant will be released on April 17 while the White color variant isn't due till May 15. 

Starting next week, SnapTo will be available via other retailers including Huawei's official online store (GetHuawei.com), BestBuy, Newegg, Fry's and Brandsmart USA.
