Intex Aqua Power+ with Android Lollipop and 4000mAh battery launched in India for Rs. 8,999

Intex's latest smartphone is an upgraded version of Aqua Power HD dubbed Aqua Power+. According to Intex, the Aqua Power+ boasts " vivid display, excellent battery backup, vibrant picture excellence at an incredible price point". 

The Intex Aqua Power+ features 5-inch (1280x720 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6528M processor paired with 2GB RAM. The handset comes with 16GB of internal storage and microSD card slot that accepts up to 32GB microSD cards. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Camera features include 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v3.0 and USB OTG. It comes with a special feature called Air Shuffle sensor, which allows users to operate the handset without touching the display.

A 4000mAh battery runs the show on Intex Aqua Power+ which is rated to deliver up to 20 hours of talk time and 500 hours of standby time. Some of the preloaded apps include Sashakt, One Drive, ASK ME, Flashlight,  OLX, Go to reach service, News hunt, FOTA, Matrabhasa, Clean master Maxthon browser, Truecaller and more

The Intex Aqua Star+ is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will be available exclusively via Reliance retail stores. It will be available in black with champagne, white with champagne, champagne, and black with silver champagne color options and comes bundled with a free flip cover.
