Xiaomi's Mi Fan Festival goes live in India on April 8, announces bunch of offers on its devices

Xiaomi's Mi Festival is coming to India for the first time and will be held on April 8. This is a part of Xiaomi's five year anniversary celebration. 

To celebrate the occasion Xiaomi has announced a bunch of offer that will start tommorow (April 8) at 12pm and end at midnight (one day only). The offers are on the Redmi 2, Redmi Note 4G, Mi 4 and Mi Pad.

Hugo Barra, Vice President, Xiaomi Global, said - "Mi Fan Festival is a huge online party that we throw every year to bring Mi fans together all around the world for a day of non-stop celebration — it’s our way of thanking our fans for their huge support. We’re super thrilled to have Mi India joining the party this year and look forward to spending many more birthdays together!"

Xiaomi will be slashing the price of both the 16GB and 64GB of the Mi 4. Mi 4 16GB will be available for Rs. 17,999 (usually priced 19,999) and Mi 4 64GB will be priced Rs.21,999 ( usually priced Rs. 23,999).

Xiaomi will also be giving away free accessories with the purchase of Redmi Note 4G. The device will come bundled with Mi In-Ear Headphones when you purchase it via Flipkart, Snapdeal or Amazon India.If you purchase the Redmi Note 4G via Airtel stores or the Mobile stores you will get a free 5200mAh Mi Power Bank.

Lastly. the Redmi 2 and Mi Pad will be available tomorrow via open sale, you can purchase both the devices without the need for any registrations from all the online partners.

Earlier today Xiaomi announced its partnership with Amazon and Snapdeal in India, ending its exclusively one year romance with Flipkart. Now Xiaomi devices will be sold on all three e-commerce websites.
