Lenovo K3 Note with Android Lollipop, 4G LTE support lands in India for Rs. 9,999


After selling more than one million 4G LTE smartphones in India, Lenovo has launched the K3 Note, another 4G LTE enabled phone from the company. It supports both LTE bands in India (FDD-LTE 1800MHz Band 3, and TDD-LTE 2300MHz Band 40).

The K3 Note was initially launched in March in China and will compete against the likes of Xiaomi's Redmi Note and Meizu's M1 Note in the mega affordable smartphone market in the country.

The Lenovo K3 note features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display with 72% screen-to-body ratio, 400 nits brightness and 178-degree wide viewing angle. Under the hood there is a 64-bit octa-core Mediatek MT6752 processor clocked at 1.7GHz paired with Mali-T760 GPU and 2GB RAM. It houses 16GB internal storage and microSD card slot (up to 32GB supported). It runs in Android 5.0 Lollipop with Vibe UI on top.

Camera features include 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity option include Dual-SIM support, 2G/3G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the usual suite of sensors. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 39 hours of talk time on 2G and 16 hours on 2G, apart from 11 days of standby time. It also features Dolby Atmos.

The body of the Lenovo K3 Note is 7.6mm thin and weighs 150 grams. It comes in either Peral White, Onyx Black or Laser Yellow exteriors.

The Lenovo K3 Note is priced at Rs. 9,999 and will be available exlucsively via Flipkart through flash sale starting July 8. Registration for the sale will begin at 2PM today on Flipkart. Threre is also another variant which will have a "Ceramic Piece Vibration" speaker on the rear. This will be available in the country later.
