HTC Desire 728w with MediaTek SoC appears on TENAA

A new HTC Desire series smartphone codenamed D728w with MediaTek SoC paid a visit to TENAA in China revealing specs and photos. The handset will release in the market as Desire 728. The design of the handset looks quite similar to the Desire 820 and Desire 626.

As per the listing, the HTC Desire 728 features 5.5-inch 720p display and is powered by 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek processor paired with 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, further expandable via microSD card. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Sense UI on top.

Camerawise it sports 13-megapixel main unit with LED flash and 5-megapixel front shooter. It measures 157.9 x 77.8 x 7.87mm, weighs 150g and comes in Gold, Black, White, Grey, Orange and Red. There is no word on battery capacity.
