Lenovo S60 gets Android 5.0 Lollipop update


The Lenovo S60 was launched in March, (May in India) but arrived with Android 4.4 KitKat and the company had promised to upgrade it to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Now, Lenovo has started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to this device.

At the moment, the update is rolling out in Europen country, Greece OTA (Over-the-air), but will probably be available to other countries in the coming days. The update package weighs 1.32GB, so make sure you have enough storage space left to download and install the update. It is also recommended to download the update via WiFi and make sure that your phone's battery is at least 50% charged

The Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Lenovo S60 brings lots of changes especially in terms of UI, bug fixes and performance improvements.

The Lenovo S60 features 5-inch (1280x720 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB (expandable via microSD card). It sports 13MP/5MP cameras, supports 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity and is fueled by 2150mAh battery.
