Vivo X5Pro with 4G LTE, Octa-Core SoC, Android 5.0 Lollipop launched in India for Rs. 27,980

China-based smartphone maker Vivo introduced the high-end smartphone X5Pro in China in May this year. Now the company has launched the X5Pro in India. 

The main highlight of the handset is the eye-scanner technology that is built into the front facing camera, that unlocks the device as well as can be used to unlock important information stored. Unfortunately the Indian model does not come with this feature. Other talking point is that the Vivo X5Pro sports an 8-megapixel front facing camera that can interpolate images to the quality of 32-megapixels. On the back there is a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. 

The Vivo X5Pro features 5.2-inch AMOLED full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display with 2.5D glass technology with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood there is a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2GB RAM. On-board storage is16GB further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with company's proprietary Funtouch OS 3.0 UI on top.  Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPSA 2300mAh battery fuels the Vivo X5 Pro. The body is just 6.44mm thick. It also promises Hi-Fi audio experience with custom Cirrus Logic DAC AK4375 audio chip. 

The Vivo X5Pro is priced at Rs. 27,980 and will be available across India starting August 15.
