Asus ZenFone Max with 5000mAh battery launched in India


At the Asus ZenFestival 2015 event in India, Asus has launched the ZenFone Max. The handset offers a large display and impressive battery life. The ZenFone Max can also be used a battery charger.

Asus ZenFone Max features 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Inside there is a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB RAM. It comes in two storage variant- 8GB or 16GB, expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Zen UI 2.0 on top, has dual-SIM slot and supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by a massive 5000mAh battery that is non-removable and has a leather back finish.

Camerwise, it sports 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Real Tone Flash and Laser Auto Focus. On the front there is an 5-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degress wide-angle lens.

Asus has not revealed the pricing of ZenFone Max, but did mention that it will go on sale in October.
