Renders of BlackBerry Vienna surfaces: Android-powered QWERTY with traditional design

BlackBerry's first Android smartphone, the Priv went on sale last week in limited markets. Now, Renders of BlackBerry's second Android smartphone, the Vienna have surfaced. The new BlackBerry device looks similar to a traditional BlackBerry smartphone, with an always-present physical keyboard.

The renders indicates that BlackBerry Vienna has a long rectangular screen and sitting below it are the three physical Android button- Back, Home and Task Switcher. The bezels around the screen are quite large, though it appears like the screen's glass extend to the sides of device as well. The charging port seems to be located on the left side, which sits above the trays for microSD card and SIM cards. The volume rocker is on the right side while the power button resides on the left.

Also seen is the front and rear camera, with the rear camera to come equipped with LED flash. The BlackBerry Vienna will come in different colors- Dark Blue, Orange, Silver and Black. Other details are still unknown.

BlackBerry CEO recently said that there were other Google-powered handsets in the works, so the Vienna could be one of them. Since, nothing is official, we will have to wait for more evidence. Until that time take the above information about the BlackBerry "Vienna" with a pinch of salt
