HTC One A9 to get Android 6.0.1, One M9 to get Marshmallow by end of this month

Following the rollout of Android 6.0.1 update to Google's Nexus devices, HTC's VP of Product Management, Mo Versi announced that the Android 6.0.1 update with new emojis will roll out the latest HTC One A9 by the end of this month. 

In addition, he also revealed that the unlocked version of HTC One M9 will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update by the end of this month, as the company promised. The HTC One M8 has already started receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. 

Apart from the said devices, HTC has already confirmed Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for a range of its smartphones including HTC One M9+, One E9, One E9+, One ME, One E8, One M8 EYE, Butterfly 3, Desire 816, Desire 820 and Desire 826.

It is yet to be known whether these devices will be directly updated to Android 6.0.1, since they are not expected to get Marshmallow update until early next year.
