Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition lands in India this week

Motorola India has outed a series of teasers on its Twitter handle, which indicates the launch of the Moto G Turbo Edition in the country this week. The teasers highlight various features of the phone including the 2470mAh battery with Turbo Charge support, dual SIM capabilities and IP67 certification.

The latest teaser (posted today) gives away the launch date pointing to a three day time frame from today, which could be November 9 or 10. The tweet reads "Power up and get ready for #TurboMode! 3 Days to go for Moto G Turbo edition. Coming soon!".

To recap, the Moto G Turbo Edition was launched in Mexico for 4699 Mexican Pesos ($280 | Rs. 18,500)  last month, and comes with better chipset and fast charging feature, as compared to Moto G 3rd Gen. It features 5-inch 720p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor instead of Snapdragon 410. It is equipped with 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable store, 13-megapixel rear camera w/ LED flash, 5-megapixel front facing camera and a 2470mAh battery that supports Motorola's Turbo Power quick charging. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, supports 4G LTE and is IPX7 rated for water resistance.
