OnePlus 2 going invite-free FOREVER, OnePlus X is invite-free December 5-7

OnePlus has scrapped the annoying invite system for buying OnePlus 2 forever, and starting December 5 you can purchase the OnePlus 2 without an invite. 

This means no more waiting to get your hands on an invite for purchasing the OnePlus 2, instead you'll be able to the buy it like you would buy any other smartphone, by heading to company's online store and placing the order. The news comes just in time for the holidays.

In addition OnePlus is also making the OnePlus X invite free all day on December 5, 6 and 7. The company is even offering few extra deals during the said time period that include 50% off on OnePlus 2 StyleSwap Covers, 90% off on select OnePlus One accessories and 10% off on all other accessories. As a special holiday gift, a limited number of first orders will receive an exclusive Never Settle mousepad.

OnePlus also notes that any order placed before December 7 will be delivered in time for Christmas. OnePlus has made this decision as a part of its second anniversary celebration that is on December 17.
