Razer Blade Stealth "Ultimate Ultrabook" announced

U.S based Razer, known for its gaming laptops and peripherals introduced the Blade Stealth ultrabook that can turn into a powerful gaming notebook with the help of the Razer Core desktop GPU enclosure.

The Razer Blade Stealth sports a 12.5-inch IGZO touchscreen display available in UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) and QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. Under the hood there is a 6th-gen dual-core 2.5GHz Intel Core i7 processor, paired with Intel HD graphics 520, 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB SSD. It offers eight hours of battery life, runs Windows 10 64-bit and has a USB Type-C port equipped with Thunderbolt 3.

Considering the GPU (Intel HD Graphics 520), the Blade Stealth is not exactly the perfect laptop when it comes to gaming. This is where Razer Core comes in. The Razer Core is a desktop graphics enclosure that can accommodate a full length PCI-Express x16 graphics card. You will have to install your own powerful GPU, such as Nvidia's 980Ti or AMD's R9 390X in the core and connect it to the Blade Stealth via Thunderbolt 3. The Core also includes 4 x USB 3.0 ports and Gigabit Ethernet.

The Razer Blade Stealth prices start at $999.99 (Rs. 67,00) and will be available from January 26.
