LYF Wind 6 entry-level smartphone listed online for Rs. 6,999

Reliance Jio's LYF brand has got a new member.  HomeShop 18 has listed an entry-level LYF branded smartphone on its website, the LYF Wind 6. Similar to other LFY smartphones the Wind 6 supports 4G LTE, VoLTE and VoWiFi.

The LYF Wind 6 sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. and is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core processor with Adreno 304 GPU, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, further expandable via microSD up to 32GB.

For imaging, there is 5-megapixel rear (w/ LED flash) and 5-megapixel front camera. The rear camera comes with features like auto frame rate, red eye reduction, continuous auto focus, video HDR, smile detection, gaze detection, blink detection and panorama.

The dual-SIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and supports 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS. It is fueled by 2250mAh battery that offers up to 8 hours of talktime.

The LYF Wind 6 is priced at Rs. 6,999 and comes with two year warranty. HomeShop 18 is also offering a LYF carry bag, gift vouchers worth Rs. 6,500 and gift coupons worth Rs. 700 with the purchase of Wind 6.

This is the fifth LYF smartphone, the others being Earth 1, Water 1, Water 2 and the Flame 1.
